From St. George to Tottenville, Staten Island homes hold generations of family history – wedding albums, communion photos, slide carousels and shoeboxes of prints passed down through the family. Smooth Photo Scanning Services digitizes it all for Staten Island residents, including loose photos, photo albums, scrapbooks, slides, negatives, VHS and camcorder tapes, 8mm/16mm film and audio cassettes. Once digitized, your memories are protected from dust, scratches, fading, decay and flood damage, and can be shared instantly with family from any device.

Staten Island VHS to Digital Conversion Service
How many home videos are sitting in your Staten Island basement or hall closet – and when did you last have a working VCR to play them? Magnetic tape loses picture and sound quality every year it sits in storage, and many family tapes are now 25 to 40 years old. Smooth Photo Scanning Services converts VHS, VHS-C, Hi8, Video8, MiniDV, Betamax and more to high-quality digital files or DVD using professional transfer decks, so your family can relive birthdays, holidays, graduations and weddings on any TV, computer or phone.
Your memories never leave the tri-state area. Every photo, slide and tape is digitized at our own facility in Lodi, NJ by our trained technicians – never shipped overseas, as many national scanning companies do. We treat your keepsakes as if they were our own family’s, and with over 25 years of scanning experience, Staten Island families can count on careful handling and archival-quality results.
