Our DVCAM Transfer Process
Your DVCAM tapes can be dropped off or shipped to our production facility in Lodi, NJ, just outside New York City. Our skilled video technicians will convert your tapes to digital using professional Sony DVCAM decks and high-end capture software, coupled with TBC video filtering to maximize playback quality. We accept both large and small sized formats.
Each video tape is captured in real-time from beginning to end via IEEE 1394 or SDI (serial digital interface) output connections to ensure every moment is preserved at the highest quality. Our video transfer techs review each video, trim out blank space from the beginning and end of each recording, then convert the files to MP4, MPEG-2, AVI, MOV or Apple ProRes according to your preference.
Your newly digitized footage is saved to a flash drive, external hard drive or burned to DVD. Your once forgotten footage will be available at your fingertips and ready to be used in any capacity. Digital video files are easy to share and can be edited as needed for personal or professional use.
DVCAM Tape Quality and Resolution
With over 25 years of experience, our goal is to transfer your broadcast tapes to digital with the highest quality picture and sound. We transfer DVCAM to digital at the native resolution of the original recording, 720 x 480 for NTSC format or 720 x 576 for PAL format. HDCAM tapes are captured in HD at 1920 x 1080
